Fear not I’ve got a few ideas up my sleeve with your wedding guest guide to help you decipher what to wear. Now weddings are your chance to have lot’s of fun playing dress up, as well as trying new styles.

Firstly, I want you to stop panicking have a look at your wedding invitation see what type of invitation it is. Whether it has an expense feel to it, what does it look like, is it finished with gold embossed detail or a relaxed style invite that could be a less formal type of day, say a beach ceremony. Once you’ve identified this your well on your way to getting the right guest dress code for the wedding. Don’t forget to always check your invite you may find the dresscode has already been chosen.

This is really important, before I forget to mention one of the the golden rules never ever wear white or anything to sexy, not only is it inappropriate as it may be a religious ceremony it’s not about upstaging the bride, it’s her red carpet day and time to shine.

The Invite Dress Codes May Be:

Black Tie: You defiantly want to go for a long dress or cocktail style dress, don’t be afraid to make it more you own styling by adding bright statement accessories to your chosen outfit.

Semi-Formal: You want to opt for a cocktail style dress, a nice skirt and top with some fabulous shoes. If neither of these outfit options are you, don’t be worried about wearing a bright tailored suit, there all the trend this season.

White Tie: Is all about the glamour ball gowns, sequins, fabulous heels and accessories that say you’ve arrived.

Casual/Beach: Think bight floral maxi dresses with high wedges or beach friendly sandals.You could even go all Bohemia beach styling.
