Over the next five weeks I’m going to share with you some amazing wardrobe tips that will leave you looking and feeling incredible.
Sometimes it can be difficult to change your habits where your clothes are concerned but take my advice and you will find that you not only see yourself in a completely different light but people around you will too.
How you present yourself to the world is so very important.
Take a networking event for example, if you turn up in creased jeans and a baggy jumper the networking group would make a judgement about you the second you walked through the door.
Some could think that you couldn’t even be bothered to present yourself in the right way. Whereas if you present yourself in a smart fitted business suit or jacket, skirt and shirt looking beautifully turned out, straight away you are creating a professional impression so you are far more likely to make positive lasting connections.
Follow these Body Shape rules:
Every woman should always dress for her body shape. Did you know that 95%of women buy clothes that they never wear because they are completely wrong for their body shape and 44% of women don’t even know what body shape they are.
Here are 4 different body shapes, which one are you?
Apple – this means top heavy, meaning the chest is much bigger than the hips.
First of all, since a lot of attention is going to be drawn to the top part of your body, get yourself a good fitting bra. Wear Tops with a V-neck to break up the size of your chest and create a lean line. Look for tops with a thicker texture that don’t cling so much
Pear – this means bottom heavy, meaning the hips are far bigger than the chest with narrow shoulders.
It’s important to take the emphasis off the hips when choosing clothes. Clothes must focus on the top half of the body. Choose fitted tops with bold designs. Avoid baggy tops completely.
Athletic / Boyish – this means a very slim waist, small chest and hips.
This figure is one of the easiest to dress. Try short fitted dresses to show off your slimmer shape. An empire line cut is perfect for your shape, avoid round necklines.
Hourglass – this means has the same size chest and hips with a very slim waist, very curvy which can be a plus as you are able to accentuate your curves if you dress correctly.
V necks and scooped tops that show of your chest are ideal for you. Also try wrap tops or add a belt to a top as this will accentuate your slimmer waist.
Once you have discovered your body type then always stick to these rules to look and feel incredible in your clothes every day.
