Well over the past three weeks we’ve definitely created this amazing new style for you and this week we’re going to talk about the do’s and don’ts of your wardrobe.
Basically what you should have and what you definitely shouldn’t have.
Have you ever reached into your wardrobe looking for a suitable item to wear to the works event that you’ve just be invited to, only to break out into a cold sweat because you just don’t have anything in there to wear? Or perhaps the weather is getting warmer and all you have is extra tight tee-shirts and big jumpers.
What do you do?
Firstly remove the tight tee-shirts and the floral prints. They were a hit a number of years ago but certainly not now.
Sorting your wardrobe out is about removing very old clothes that you haven’t worn for years and also completing your wardrobe with new clothes they fill in the huge holes that you have in your wardrobe.
It’s ok for the fashion experts to say what the latest season must haves are but in today’s world in doesn’t always work like that.
The best way to sort out your wardrobe is to have a think about your lifestyle, for example what do you do each week. Do you work in a corporate environment or a casual environment? Socialising with friends and activities that you do, gym, running?
The next area you need to think about is special occasions. Holidays clothes (beach holidays and skiing holidays), weekend getaways, eating out at a restaurant, going to the theatre or a concert, weddings you may attend.
All of these lifestyle activities must be taken into account so then you are able to really fill in the gaps in your wardrobe.
Do the clothes that you have in wardrobe match your activities?
If they don’t then it’s time that you get yourself out shopping to fill in the gaps for each activity that you do.
It’s important for you to remember that when you do go clothes shopping it isn’t always about choosing something because it may look cute. These items are generally worn once or twice and then thrown in the back of your wardrobe never to be seen again.
You must choose clothes that not only look great on you but also fit into yourself lifestyle activities and can be worn on certain events. An outfit for every type of occasion is an ideal choice.
You must go through your wardrobe on a regular basis to determine exactly what you’re missing and by doing this they are your very own personal fashion must haves that should be hanging in your wardrobe.
